Wild Orchid Floral Studio was established in 1993 and opened at 31 O'Connell Street in Dungarvan in the month of September. The business began with bouquets and flower arrangements and gradually moved into more exclusive selections. The wedding and corporate areas of the business grew rapidly and by 1997 this was providing about 50% of the production.

In 2001 the shop moved further down O'Connell Street to a prominent location at number 74. The business thrived at the new location and our deliveries and telephone orders became a greater part of our business. The extra room and space allowed us to carry a larger stock of fresh flowers and various floral accessories.

In 2006 Wild Orchid Floral Studio had reached the point where business had outgrown the shop area again and we purchased the new premises next door to where we began at number 30 O'Connell Street. The new shop has been custom designed specifically for a floral studio. We have 1000 square feet of shop floor area, including for the first time, a state of the art flower refrigeration unit and dedicated production area.

Wild Orchid Floral Studio is owned and managed by Martina Bannon. Martina studied Horticulture in Kinsealy, Co Dublin and went on to do floristry before opening the first shop in Dungarvan.

The move to the new purpose built shop is the final piece of the Wild Orchid Floral Studio plan and is the culmination of almost 20 years in the flower industry.
